Abstract EN

A questionnaire was administered to a sample of 183 enrollees of a military rehabilitation training course.

According to questionnaire findings, the average degree of adaptation disorder symptoms amounted to 61.37 with a standard deviation of 14.56 and a percentage of 65, while the average degree of hypochondria disorder symptoms amounted to 50.18, with a standard deviation of 16.29 and a weighted percentage of 59%.

Whereas, the average degree of factitious disorder symptoms amounted to 59.44 with a standard deviation of 13.51 and a weighted percentage of 66%.

Findings have also shown differences in symptoms degrees according to age group (30 -37) who were raised abroad as well differences according to health and social conditions: divorcees and sons of divorced parents have showed the highest degrees in adaptation and hypochondria disorder symptoms and low ones in factitious disorder symptoms.

In its recommendations, study stresses the importance of providing enrollees of military training courses with mental health with a special focus on those at risk, given the physical and mental stress involved in such training courses
