The image of men and its patterns in Ahlam Mosteghanemi’s collection (Alik Al-Lahffah): a feminist cultural read.

This research aims to study Ahlam Mosteghanemi’s collection (Alik Al- Lahffah), in order to provide a new vision for the image of the man in her poems, using cultural and feminist criticism, where this research will try to find the shifts in the cultural pattern implicit, and clarify the untold story in her poems, and what it hides of intellectual ideologies.

The study found that the image of men does not celebrate much love, as seems apparent in the poetic text, as poetic text has invisible criticism to men, and then extends this criticism to include the society, the different images of men was shown through the following topics: The image of dominant men.

The image of absent men.

The image of betrayer men.

The image of forgotten men
