أثر السيطرة الدماغية و الجنس في أنماط الذكاءات المتعددة لدى طلبة جامعة طيبة بالمدينة المنورة في المملكة العربية السعودية

Abstract EN

This study aims at discovering the effect of leading hemispheric brain and sex on multiple intelligences by answering the following questions: 1- Is there a significant statistical difference in the multiple intelligences at (a 0.05) and can be ascribed to the leading hemispheric variable? 2- Is there a significant statistical difference in the multiple intelligences at (a 0.05) and can be ascribed to the sex variable? 3- Is there a significant statistical difference in the multiple intelligences at (a 0.05) and can be ascribed to the interaction between the leading hemispheric variable & the sex variable? The study sample includes (362) male & female students from Taibah University registered in the academic year of 2009/2010.

A test of hemispheric leading of both hemispheres and multiple intelligences applied on to study sample.

Moreover, a Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), and a Least Significant Difference (LSD) test is used.

The outcome results has shown an existing significant statistical differences at (a 0.05) for the variable the leading hemispheric in: Spatial Intelligence, musical intelligence, Bodily-kinesthetic-intelligence for the right hemispheric leading.

However, the naturalistic intelligence is found to be left hemispheric leaded.

The results have also shown an existing significant statistical differences at (a 0.05) for the sex variable on spatial intelligence, inter-personal & intra-personal intelligence for women, while the naturalistic intelligence for men.

The study found no apparent significant statistical differences at (a 0.05) for the interaction between the leading hemispheric variable & the sex variable.

It has recommended that instructors of teaching strategies may use both the hemispheric leading theory or the multiple intelligences theory in advancing the learning level of students using either one of the two.
