Abstract EN

that faced them by attempting to investigate the dimensions of these relationships on different levels: historical, economic and political.

The researcher considers that Turkey is a model on the political and economic level, trying to find a place in an uncertain world, recently marked by a unprecedented clash between the various forces, to find a place in the world markets, though in recent years Turkey focused on the Arab world, referring to historical and civilizational facts that linked it to the region.

As for the Kingdom of Morocco, it is the Arab state, which has become a model of stability in the Arab world that still suffer under the yoke of chaos and instability, due to defections experienced after what has become known as the Arab Spring, only the Kingdom alone had been able to pass or tame the winds of the Arab Spring, by conducting constitutional reforms.

This paper focuses on the strengths of the two countries, that is believed –if optimally invested- to constitute influence factors in the region particularly on the strategic level, especially with variables of the regional political void in the Arab region, and the Iranian and Israeli ambitions in the Middle East,.

In the first place, the paper mainly deals with the Moroccan decision-maker, and this explains adopting an approach that attempts to define Turkey as a state that is emerging strongly into the international arena, thus a topic in the research was devoted to discussing Turkish power in the political and economic sphere.

The study adopts observational approach, exploring the strengths of both countries in the prospects of enhance cooperation in these common strengths, especially that the two countries have the same spiritual religious presence in the Muslim world, and can play the role of the Islamic interlocutor accepted by the Western world, especially the European world, due to their historical presence in Europe, as well as their being two models of moderate Islam that is able to adapt to the modern age, disproving the view that is trying to separate democracy and democratic system on one side and Islam on the other side.

The researcher concludes that the regional developments impose Turkish-Moroccan cooperation on a (winner-winner) base, enhanced by the religious historical common factors, especially that Morocco has never had a national discourse against the Turks.

However, it is required from the Turkish decision maker to be more daring in economic investment in their promising Moroccan market, Becauseit was observed through by study that the Kingdom has not benefited much from the free trade agreement signed between the two countries.
