Abstract EN

This study deals with the disagreement between the verb and its infinitive in The Holy Quran, following the descriptive approach based on deduction and analysis.

It also aims at exploring the views adopted by our specialist Grammarians about the phenomena which does not occur unless the verbs in question are identical in meaning.

The study does not take this for granted, because the verbs' identicality in meaning means the identicality in its infinitives, which has never occurred.

This study also attempts to reveal the semantic on the views of Grammarians in this respect.

The discord between the verb and its infinitives is meant also to give a semantic value.
