Online journalism is an important source of news, after satellite channels, and with time is expected to gain further ground due to its ability to combine voices and images in its pages/medium.

As communication technologies have greatly improved due to technical advancement, it has led to faster diffusion of information trans -continentally and beyond borders.

Online journalism was able to pool together the features and attributes that were available in all other media, be it reading, writing, searching archived and earlier documents, listening, viewing and others, that are not available in other traditional media.

This study aims at diagnosing the Saudi online media coverage of „‟Operation Dicisive Storm” and the consistency of the coverage within journalism framework (tenets of journalism), which are based on professional practices; and to confirm/ validate the level of interactions between these media and their readers, as events occur and crises emerge.
