Abstract EN

Website Records are the consequence of e-government، so the governmental institution must control them to document their electronic transactions and interaction between institution and citizens online.

In this study، the researcher studies website Records and problems which face them in Arab environment.

The researcher uses a descriptive approach to analyze the website records in the Arab governmental Sector.

The study presents a number of results.

For example، first: there is a lack of Arab legislation or standards dealing with website records، second: the technology infrastructure of institution affects the efficiency of control website records.

This study includes a number of recommendations، for example: Arab governments should establish laws and guidance of website records، to complete the e-government system; it must also develop relevant curriculum specialization documents and archives in Arab academic institutions، to coincide with technological developments in the field of documentation and management.
