Abstract EN

This study comes in the light of the Arab and regional changes after the "Arab Spring" which started at the beginning of 2010, and all its reflections on the Palestinian cause.

It also tackles the impact of changes on the regional map in regard the enemies and allies.

It also comes in the light of focusing on the concepts of National Security and Egypt’s relations with the different Palestinian factions after the ousting of the Muslim brotherhood from Egypt.

This study clarifies the changes of the Egyptian National security policies and strategies, its external interaction, especially with the Palestinian cause because of its importance to the Egyptian national security.

The importance of the study is derived from its emphasis on separating between Palestine’s security and Egypt’s security, and affirms the integral relations between Palestine and Egypt, which came in the light of Israel’s attempt to change and affect the Palestinian Egyptian relations.

Israel meant by its policy to distract the world away from its policies and measures against Palestinians which is also meant to impose a de facto situation in Sinai and the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian national security doesn’t contradict with the Palestinian national security since the Gaza Strip has a strategic importance for Egypt’s national security.

It is worthy of note that the Gaza Strip is considered as a gate for anyone wants to play a regional role, this role may contradict with Egypt’s security and interests, therefore, Egypt must always play its prominent role and not allow any player to take its role or position.

The external threats to the Egyptian national security are still the same because it can’t change the map of its enemies and allies because of internal threats and the strategic threat represented in Israel.

Every Egyptian regime must take into consideration these facts with its neighbor relations, the facts of history and the geopolitical background of the sphere of region, particularly with Gaza strip as an ally.
