Abstract EN
The study aims to identify teachers' attitudes who work with disabled people in Jeddah toward using aquatic exercises to rehabilitate people with autism spectrum disorders, mental disability and hearing Impairment.
In addition, it aims to define the differences in teachers' attitudes according to a number of variables that include teachers' job sector, gender, qualification, experience and type of disability they deal with.
In order to achieve the study's aim, the study was applied on a random sample of 180 male teachers and 90 female teachers from the study population.
Moreover, a questionnaire of attitude assessment was applied on the sample to examine the teachers' attitudes toward aquatic exercises.
The results of this study shows that the teachers' attitudes toward using aquatic exercises for rehabilitation are positive with an average of (3.89), and there are statistically significant differences in the knowledge domain in favor of female teachers as their academic achievement is higher than the males.
The order of domains are health and knowledge domains on a side, and social and physical domains on the other side.
The researcher recommends that male and female teachers' attitudes should be enhanced to increase the scope of using aquatic exercises in rehabilitation
