The French political philosopher Edgar Morin wrote an article titled:” The Crisis of Knowledge-When the West Lacks the Style of Living”; it touches on an important cause, and it is related to the current debate in the Western European societies over what is called “The Crisis of Knowledge”.

Morin approaches this cause from a socio-cognitive perspective as he calls for the necessity of recognizing the complications filling the West in the postmodernity period.
