Time series analysis is one important tool and vital in scientific research., This tool can be used wherever it is found scientific research, whether in the field of economics, agriculture or industry, and others.

The prediction of future behavior of time series of important issues in statistical science and for the needed in all areas of life such as forecasting weather , temperature, and others.

Time series analysis give a great importance to predict and many of the methods proposed for the purpose of forecasting.

This research aims to compare adaptive filtering and Holt two parameters exponential smoothing methods in the prediction of future values of time series models and has been applied to the observations and a realistic number of people infected with hepatitis viral type (B) in the city of Mosul.
