Abstract EN

The purpose of this research is to identify the reality of scientific research in Algerian universities.

In fact, scientific research has become among the main functions that characterizes modern universities in the world particularly in developed countries.

The results from this research provides a set of development proposals for the scientific research in the Algerian universities by according a great attention to scientific research through creation an appropriate scientific environment, leadership and strategic vision, promote a human resources and acquiring the necessary funds, creation of laboratories and procurement of scientific equipment to produce knowledge, finally establish a strong scientific research cooperation.
