This article aims to study the concept of Poetry elaborated by Abderrahmane Chokri, one of the neologiste in the new Arabic poetry, on the basis of his romantic background.
After having analyzing the concept of poetry in his repertories, we can say that this notion knew a conceptual development tends to structure the poetry in its components ,its function, its language, and the textual structure.
Chokri tackled also the questions of the principals of poetry such as emotion ,fiction ,and thought.

Cet article vise à étudier le concept de poésie élaboré par Abderrahmane Chokri, l'un des néologiste dans la nouvelle poésie arabe, sur la base de son background romantique.
Après avoir analyser le concept de la poésie dans ses répertoires, nous pouvons dire que cette notion a connu un développement conceptuel a pour objectif de structurer la poésie dans ses composantes, sa fonction, sa langue et la structure textuelle.
Chokri a abordé aussi les questions de principes de la poésie tels que l'émotion, la fiction, et la pensée.
