Abstract EN

The current study aimed to discover the prevalence of altruism for deaf and blind children in Masqat and Alexandria, determine the differences for both deaf and blind children according to gender (males-females), environment (Muscat-Alexandria), and age (6-9, 9-12) years.

The sample consists of (92) children from deaf and blind children in Muscat and Alexandria, aged between (6-12) years, (19) deaf children and (18) blind children in Muscat, and (19) deaf children and (36) blind children in Alexandria.

The researchers use altruism scale that prepared by themselves.

The research shows follow results: Altruism for blind children and deaf children in Muscat is higher than altruism for blind children and deaf children in Alexandria.

There are significant differences in altruism scores for deaf and blind children according gender (males-females), toward males, there are significant differences in altruism for deaf and blind children due to interaction between handicaps (deaf-blind), gender (males-females),there are significant differences in altruism scores for deaf and blind children according age (6-9, 9-12) years, toward (9-12) year.

Finallythere are significant differences in altruism scores for deaf and blind children due to interaction between handicaps and age.
