Abstract EN

This Study aimed at exploring the role of the administrative departments heads at Irbid`s first and second educational Directorates in the professional development of their subordinates.

To achieve the study objectives, the researcher chooses a stratified sample consisted of 92 persons, and the sample answered the questionnaire which consisted of 37 paragraphs.

Validity and reliability was tested for the questionnaire.

Data analysis showed that the role of the administrative departments heads at Irbid's first and second Directorates in the professional development of their subordinates was moderate.

Also, the results showed that there were no statically significant differences in the sample responses with respect to gender.

In the light of the results, the researcher recommends some recommendations.
