Abstract EN

This research investigates the history of the Kingdom of Granada in the reign of Bani Al- Ahmar as cited in the Eastern Arab resources.

The reason for choosing the topic is to see how much the Eastern Arabs were interested in the events and history of that kingdom as the last place of the Arabs in Andalusia and the image of Granada in the Eastern Arab resources.

To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher analyzed some contemporary resources in addition to documents from the 8th and 9th AD that recorded the history of the Kingdom of Granada during the reign of Bani Al- Ahmar.

The researcher studies the origin of Bani Al- Ahmar, the rise of their kingdom, the names of their kings and the reasons for its falling.

The study examined the political and military events that took place during the reign of the Kingdom of Granada, the conflict over power and its impact on the fall of Granada.

The paper analyzed relations of the Kingdom with its neighboring countries and its impact on its stability.

An example of this was the relation with Bani Marin in Fez and political correspondences with the Mamluks in Egypt and Syria as viewed by Eastern Arab resources.

The study was concluded with a number of findings, resources and references.
