The study has aimed at highlighting the role of research centers in reserving, documenting, and archiving the Palestinian folkloric heritage and national identity throughout selecting As-Sanabel Center as a model.

The study has made use of the content analysis approach referring to documents, inputs and outcomes, files and visits record in addition to what has been issued on the center by the local press and internet.

Among the most significant outcomes of the same study: Contribution by the center in scientific conferences through work sheets and research papers in various aspects that deal with folkloric heritage, A website has been created to generalize folkloric heritage, Computerizing the center in addition to its activities and events, Employing technology in documenting the folkloric heritage, The pictorial archive of the center shows 17.000 expressive and documentary heritage photo, Coordination with interested centers and organizations besides those relevant to publishing books and heritage studies, keeping heritage books and resources in the center's heritage library in an attempt to serve researchers and scholars, Organizing seminars and festivals in addition to celebrations, school days, and workshops in coordination with relevant organizations, and Conducting intervie.
