Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to show social knowledge about the woman in contemporary Islamic discourse and almost her convictions and practices and positions and how she reproduces it at the social, imaginary and living levels in the daily life.

The research in woman social representations through the religious discourse reveals the status of the woman and also the nature of her relationship with society.

Especially that economic and social and political factors explain the reality of the Arab and Moslem woman less than cultural factor based essentially on religion.

This study will.

Bring to light the images and the representations held by the woman on herself through the religious discourse and its main questions as the conditions of marriage, the polygamy, the woman marriage without tutor , the woman’s work The veil, the woman participation in political affairs, the witness , the heritage and the violence against the woman ,etc.

Finally we detect crossing of perspectives and points of view between the religious discourse and the woman representations in light of social, economical, cultural and political change .
