The objective of the study was to identify the relationship between reflective thinking and self - regulated learning among Taibah University students.

The sample of study consisted of (807) students selected from Taibah University in Saudi Arabia during the academic year 2012\2013.

Two scales were used in data collection; the first was Al Shdaifat (2007) Reflective Thinking Scale; the second was Purdie Self - Regulated Learning Scale adapted by Ahmad (2007) to the Arab environment.

Results of the study indicated a significant correlation between reflective thinking and self - regulated learning among Taibah University students.

Results of the study showed that reflective thinking among students was at moderate levels and the self - regulated learning was at high levels.

Results indicated no significant differences in reflective thinking due to gender and faculty.

Significant differences were found due to the level of education for the first year.

In addition to that, results of the study showed no significant differences in self - regulated learning due to gender.

Significant differences were found due to faculty in favor of humanity colleges.

In addition, significant differences were found due to the level of education for the first, third and fourth year.
