The paper sheds light on an important aspect of life and poetry of the abbsyian poet, abutamam-habib bin aws al-tae died in 332 H- 846.

It studies how abutamam employed, and how thes Indicates the arab history in his poetry and the poets comprehensive awareness in the arab history.

This constituted asignification part in formulating the poets character and poetry.

Abu tamam advocated the praise purpose as a mean to figure out his interest in history and to commemorate the arab history and arabian leaders, and to how this contributes to glory of humanity.

He also employed the racial and religious issues in his poetry to glorify the glorious victories and leaders of the arabs.
