In addition, it impacts on traffic in the city, the subject of residential mobility is of utmost importance because of its close association in the properties and installation of neighborhoods within the city.

Thus it relates to urban planning.

So, the study addresses the issue of residential mobility in Al - Zubair city and it highlights the spatial variation for residential units, studying the most important motives of population mobility and the characteristics of those who relocate in the city whether it is economic or social.
