Abstract EN

The Emirate's personal status law is one of the most modern laws in Arab and Islamic countries.

It contains numerous principles and new laws that did not exist in the judiciary application of personal status cases since the country was established in 1971.

The law contains principles and theories that contribute in unifying the juristic authorities, and it made it easy for the judges to return to one juristic basis while looking to lawsuits and events.

This law participates in achieving a unified judiciary system in Emirate.

From the practical side this new law achieved several, benefits, and rights to the spouse, children, and family in general.

The law also used many methods like: start binging legal action, comply to simplify the ways of evidence by confession, and using the listening hearing and raise it to the level of witness to achieve the public
