This study sheds light on the literature of resistance in the modern era.

It has tackled the image of the colonized in Alfred Faraj's play Sulieman Al- Halbi in an attempt to clarify this image, explaining its dimension in the literature of the colonized and how do the colonized depict himself and how do they depict the colonizer under colonization.

Further, this study aims at identifying what kind of conflict that characterizes the relationship between the colonized and the colonizer and also the dimensions of the characters that represent such conflict.

The study also focused on discussing the issues raised, by the text, such as: intellectual, power، alienation، and freedom The researcher has employed a contextual study in light of the contextual approaches taking benefit from Colonialism and Emptiness that included a set of researches presented in the Scientific International Conference, about the same title above, held by the department of the Political Sciences at Garioness University, Libya.

The researcher has also benefited from Albert Mimi's the Colonized and the Colonizer and the study has focused on the following subjects and images: the image of the colonized who submits to the colonizer, the colonized who conspires against his country, and the colonized who rejects and abhors the colonizer.

The study has concluded that colonization plays a negative role in destroying the relationship between people and communities, as well.

It also ruins institutions, robs people, usurp their rights to live a dignified life, deepen human suffering, acts negatively against the colonized who in turn needs to return his humanity back by leaving the colonized country, let alone not having equal opportunities between the colonized and the colonizer, that's why one can detect some colonized people who reject the colonizer and rebels against them as they can detect some colonized people who conspire and act out their country for the sake of mutual interests.

However, due to people's awareness and the availability of strong influential motivations people get involved to decolonize at the end when things become unstable in the colonized country, especially when everybody becomes a target of humiliation; people would spare no effort to get their freedom and liberty back.
