The researcher critically explores the sacred dimension in Ibn Nubata's travel narrative entitled "Hadhirat Al -Unis ela hadrat Al-Qudus", investigates the psychological effects of the sacred time and place on the reader or recipient and manifests man's spatial and temporal association with Jerusalem, correlation of human emotions with time and place, and development of religious feelings.

The researcher analytically studies the technical and literary issues in the narrative in the light of the spirit of the age which was known for the depth and richness of its religious and literary heritage.

The researcher primarily focuses on the rhetorical devices of double entendre, alliteration, assonance and comparisons.
