This study deals with the agreement phenomenon between the subject and the verb in comparative approach between the Hebrew on one hand and Artabic language and some of its old dialicts on the other hand, the study focusing on examining the agreement in number and gender between the subject and the verb for the purpose of monitoring the points of similarities and differences between them in an attempt to provide an explanation for the reasons that led to their differences despite belonging to the same family of Semitic languages, which may shed light on one of the early stages of the origins and evolution of classical Arabic
