This study highlights on the Public Bath in Damascus during the Ottoman era as a place of entertainment and amusement in addition to its social, cultural and religious functions.

Moreover, the study spots on the Public Bath in the contemporary studies and references, then clarifies the structure and landscape.

The study also traces the presence of this facility in the heritage texts and manuscripts and explores its role as a place of entertainment and delighting in Damascus.
