Abstract EN

This paper aims at presenting a reading of the novel “Sayyidat Zuhal” (Ladies of Saturn) by the Iraqi novelist Lutfiyah Dleimi, as a feminine novel which carries a feminine view that forms its narrative text, by analyzing its narrative structure and its basic elements: the event and some of its magical realistic facts, characters, place and time, multi-voices, meta narrative , poetic language and the symbolic imagination of Saturn.

This research necessitated ,before the application reading, presenting an intensive theoretical framework thorough knowledge of “ Feminine Theory”: its definition, its different meanings and the difference between womanly and feminism, and feminine narration: definition and its relationship with “Feminine Theory” and “Feminine Criticism” and its views about feminine narration and spheres and techniques, and the Arab Feminine narration , the reasons behind its emergence and factors of its prosperity.
