Abstract EN

This paper aims at studying and editing a manuscript of Ibn 'Asim Al- Gharnati (d.

857 A.H.), entitled "Al-Hikam".

It is an important work because it represents the development of the Andalusian mental life in the late Nasrid era in Granada.

The manuscript which is preserved in the National Library in Rabat, is composed of four pages, as a part of a collection.

The author, Ibn 'Asim, follows the work of Ibn 'Ataollah of Alexandria, entitled Hikam Ibn 'Ataollah, since Ibn 'Asim was admiring his Sheikh and his Sufi sect (Shadhiliyyah).

Therefore, this study traced the impact of Ibn 'Ataollah on Ibn 'Asim's work, and compared between the two works in context, language and artistic styles.

This work comes as a continuity of editing the works of Ibn 'Asim in history, jurisprudence, literatre and sufism.

Some important works of Ibn 'Asim has not been discovered yet, and his work of Al-Hikam was not known before, nor any of the scholars has mentioned it.
