مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لدى معلمي التربية الخاصة في المدارس الحكومية الأردنية في ضوء بعض المتغيرات من وجهة نظر المعلمين

Abstract EN

This research aimed at finding out the level of emotional intelligence of special education teachers in Jordanian public schools in light of some variables, from teachers’ point of view.

A stratified random sample consisted of (152) was drawn from population of the research that consisted of (251) male and female teachers.

The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data, after findings its validity and reliability.

The findings of the research were (1) The level of emotional intelligence of special education teachers in Jordanian public schools was medium, (2) There were significant differences at ( α≤ 0.05) in the level of emotional intelligence of special education teachers in Jordanian public schools attributed to gender variable, (3) There were no significant differences at ( α≤ 0.05) in the level of emotional intelligence of special education in Jordanian public schools attributed to academic qualification.

Among the recommendations were: (1) Organizing training courses for special education teachers in emotional intelligence filed (2) Carrying out a similar research on other educational stages, taking into consideration other variables.
