The study aimed at developing a scale of resistance of tempetation at Jordanian universities students using Andrich model in item response theory.

The sample of the study consisted of (2454) male and female students at Jordanian universities students.

The sample of the study and items were verified by using Rating Scale Model, the assumptions of item response theory were verified for a scale, validity and reliability significant of the a scale were acceptable
