Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the problems and obstacles that face faculty members when publishing in such journals, and explore whether there are statistically significant differences between the mean responses of faculty members due to gender and specialization variables.

Descriptive method was used, a questionnaire was designed and applied to 256 faculty members.

The main findings were: 1) The problems and obstacles related to faculty members had a large weight.

2)The administrative problems and obstacles were moderately.

3) The obstacles related to the receptacles of scientific publication had a large weight.

4) There were significant differences according to gender variable at the level (0.01), in favor of males.

5) There were significant differences according to the specialization variable at the level of significance (0.01), in favor of arts and humanities disciplines.
