Abstract EN

This Study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of teaching natural sciences course using guided Imaginary strategy on understanding scientific concepts and developing the creative thinking skills among the Educational Sciences and arts Faculty students in Jordan.

The subjects of the study consisted of (60)students chosen from Educational Sciences Faculty, then divided into two groups: the experimental group with(n=30) students, taught Natural Sciences subject using guided Imagery strategy and the control group with (n=30) taught the same subject using conventional method.

Results revealed significant differences between the two groups in both scientific concepts and creative thinking skills attributed to the teaching method in favor of the experimental group.

Based on these findings, appropriate recommendations were suggested.
