Abstract EN

This paper analytically studies "The Letter of the House about the Dialogues of the Mouse" by Safi Al-Din Al-Hili.

In the letter, the house grumblingly demands one of the notables of the state of Bani Artaq to pay back his long due debts.

Al-Hili's work used a sarcastic vulgar style in its objective artistic presentation of dialogues and personification of objects and animals.

The paper further highlights the literariness and poetics of the letter which is known for its rich imageries, resolution of rhyme and embodiment of the sacred.
