Abstract EN

This research is an inference, adeductionand anextrapolation of Imam Abd Ibn Hameed's methodology in his explicationof the Quran.

It is based on the narrations reported about him in the largest encyclopedia of explicationby transmission available, which is "Al-Durr Al-Manthoor" by Al-SuyooTi.

The researcher extracted more than (7000) transmitted sayings attributed to Imam Abd Ibn Hameed by Al-SuyooTi.

The findings reveal that Imam Abd Ibn Hameed cared mostly about readings of the Quran as his narrations exceeded twice the narrations of Ibn Jareer al- Tabari, the Imam of interpreters, in this area.

Also, he stood alone with approximately (60%) of the narrations compared with the rest of interpreters.

He paid particular attention to AaSim's narrations, as he stood alone with (169) narrations of AaSim's out of (171) narrations cited by Al-SuyooTi in "Al-Durr Al-Manthoor" reported by exegesists.

The researcher suggests and recommends compilingthe legacy of Abd Ibn Hameed in explication fromold scholars' books in our hands such as Al-Durr and FatH Al-Baari and demonstrate its importance, in addition to collecting the narrations of old scholarsexplicationsin the various types of explicationto show the extent of old scholars' knowledge, such as collecting the narrations on virtues, subtleties, or Da`wah, etc.

Also, taking advantage of electronic libraries in collecting narrations, and making useful programs in the categorizationof narrations since manual categorizationhas proved over the years to be tedious to the researcher.
