Abstract EN

This research is concerned with one of the most prominent types of nonliterary discourse which is administrative discourse (correspondence as an example), by studyingfeaturesof sentence structurein this type of writing, and the most prominent aspects of rhetoric that influence its structure.

The research is divided into three parts.

The first partdiscusses the requirements of sentence structure in this discourse, as well as semantic accuracy and clarity.

The second is about semantic influencesof sentence structure elements; including nominalclause, verbalclause, preposing, ellipsis, definite articles (the, and relative pronouns) and adjectives.

The third part of the research studies ready-made sentences, addressing their importance, types and sensitivity.

The researcher hopes that this study will contribute toenrich the linguistic and rhetorical aspects of administrative discourse that would open horizons for learners.
