Abstract EN

Thetwo researchers have investigated the influence of Al Rakboba, Sudanese Arabic- language news websiteon the readership amid the intense cyberspace competition between anti and pro Sudanese government news websites.To do so, the researchers have studied the website’s editing policy, objectivity and credibility in addition to values and criteria when covering certain events.The researchers have adopted descriptive analytical approach and survey method where a population sampleof 185 participants was studied.

The researchers have used SPSS to analyze the data.

The validity of the study hypotheses was also verified.The study has concluded that the electronic website which is concerned with certain political articles affects the Sudanese audience as it seeks to form negative views about the Sudanese government.The study has also concluded that the sample is mainly interested in political news and then come cultural, social and economic issues.
