Abstract EN

This paper examines the role of intellectuals during and after the Arab Spring revolutions and transitional periods, and their critical, conservative, propagandist, or preachy contribution in forming the stance towards or engagement in it, as well as managing its consequences and dangers.

Pursuing the different roles of intellectuals, the present paper offers some insights and propositions regarding tropes, like pluralism, clash and ambiguity, paving the way towards rationalizing the critical role, especially in post-revolutions transitional periods.
