دراسة نسبة الإصابة و شدتها و المكافحة الكيميائية لحشرة حفار أوراق البنجر السكريPegomyia hyoscyami (Diptera : Anthomyiidae)‎ على نبات السلق

Abstract EN

This study was conducted in the district of Shatt Al-Arab area-Kabasa / Basra province through the agricultural term in 2011-2012 to identification the insect severity and incidence of leaf borer for sugar beet.

The results showed the highest of insect severity and incidence were on chard 6 larva / leaf and 79.4 % respectfully in March with temperature 24.5c and humidity 30.3 30.3 % while the lowest was in December respectfully While the damage ratio was 34 %in February with temperature 21.2 C° and humidity 23.3 %.

The results were affected of leaf site with the population’s density of insect which is recorded 3.88 larve / leaf.

Also the chemical and biological results revealed the overtop of both actara , aster and Beauveria bassiana in mortality percent of insect were 80.5, 75.5 and 53.4% respectively compared with phytomax 22 %.
