English Abstract

The Holy Koran was, and is still, a pure resource from which researchers can tackle it to reveal its neat structure and eloquence.

Surely, contributing in such sacred field can give researchers a great honour and responsibility.

For such reason, the present researcher has chosen a subject, concerning such a field, entitled: “The Koran verses relating to the Prophet Mohammed: A stylistic and eloquent study”.

The prophet Mohammed had owned a personality is situated at the top of the human modernization circle.

This is why many scholars and researchers, from different civilizations, have devoted their efforts to study and analyze deeply such great personality.

Those scholars and researchers were Muslims, westerners or orientalists.

This eternal personality had affected human beings as all.

Thus, some had studied his massage to the human beings as all.

Accordingly, as the present researcher believes, there is no doubt that the Verses of Koran relating to the Prophet Mohammed have been tackled by other university studies, which seem like the title of the present study, but radically different in their methodology conducted in the present study.

Also, those studies have tackled both the descriptive and subjective aspects of the verses without showing the eloquent and stylistic features of such verses.

The stylistic approach or methodology depends on the literary criticism by analyzing the aesthetic features of the literary text, using a scientific objective method without giving judgment randomly.

The aim of the stylistic text is to stop at stimuli of the literary text by recognizing the aesthetic values found in it.

This can be done by studying the artistic aspect of the style by clarifying such features from inside the text because creativity cannot be subjected to any external law.

Therefore, stylistics, as a critical approach, is considered one of the most successful approaches, which is capable of studying the style used by the speaker or researcher by studying certain elements resorted by the speaker or researcher proposing on the receiver the way he thinks.

On this principle, the style is proper choice of the expression tools the distinguish one style from other ones.

This is done by studying the linguistic expression and analyzing its elements and tools using the way of exploring sources of the effect, uniqueness and beauty.

Also, the style gives the receiver or reader the ability to comprehend and 2 taste characteristics of the literary effect, abstracting in the same time from the subjective descriptive judgments.

Hence, the present researcher has tried to adopt such an approach in studying these verses, showing cleary features of the artistic uniqueness, which are included in the Koran text without giving specific judgments.

The present study contains of three chapters, preceding by an introduction, and ending with a conclusion.

The first chapter is concerned with phonetic level.

This chapter has four researching sections.

The first section is concerned with utterances and the phonetic and patterns of represented by rhyming, ringing and rhythm.

The second researching section is concerned with repetition, while the third one is concerned with .

The last fourth one is concerned with intervals in Koran.

The second chapter (the structural level) is built around three researching sections, the first is concerned with the predicative and paragraph writing styles, stopping at the more salient of such styles.

The second section vocabulary and sentence in the Koran, surveying letters and tools up to the structure of the noun and verb phrases.

The third section is concerned with the systems of the discourse of the prophet Mohammed in the Koran, and also the structure of the surface structure and deep structure of the sentence, deviation and surveying the styles used in deviation as pronoun switching, inversion, omission, separation, connection, definition and indefiniteness.

The third chapter is concerned mainly with the semantic level.

This chapter contains of three researching sections.

The first one is concerned with the sentence structure and the context, surveying the styles of the general and specific names.

The second section is concerned with the image (picture) and its most salient features in the Koran texts.

The third one is concerned with the “travelling stick” at the picturing sign in the forms of statement such as simile, synchdochi, metaphor, metonymy.

Then, results obtained by the present study are introduced which are various opinions that may open wide new scopes to embrace new visions and ideas.
