Abstract EN

This research aimed to identify a view of the social life in the pre-Islamic era; that is : Men marriage.

The study investigated marriage kinds that were popular at that time, in addition to the men’s point view about women, and the physical features of the male that are desired by females, in addition to the psychological feature that are not less important according to the pre-Islamic society.

The research also studied the pros and negative features of males in females point view, who were charcterised as well cultured socially and in gender issues sometimes.

The study examined the suitable age for marriage at that time.

Poems showed early marriage.

The study talked about the men’s desire for having male babies not females, those who were hated, as the pre-Islamic era was a male-mominated one.
