Abstract EN

The research aims to : Identify the level of self-concept for football coaches.

- Identify the differences in self-concept for the football coaches by making different levels.

The researchers used the descriptive survey approach.

The research sample was 21 coaches representing the football coaches in the governorates (Sulaimaniyah, Kirkuk, and Erbil).

They were chosen intentionally.

The researchers used Catil Scale.

The psychological test was made and translated by Mohammed Hassan Alawi (1978).

This scale consists 30 items and formula; it measures the self-concept as an instrument to collect data.

The statistical tools used were (percentage, mean, standard deviation, ANOVA, and L.S.D).

The researchers concluded that: - There was a difference in the level of self-concept among the coaches of the governorates (Sulaimaniah, Kirkuk, and Erbil) in football.

- The coaches of the governorate of Sulaimaniah were better than the coaches of the governorates of Kirkuk and Ebril in the level of self-concept.

- The coaches of the governorate of Kirkuk were better than the coaches of the governorate of Ebril in the level of self-concept.

- The coaches of the governorates (Sulaimaniah, Kirkuk, and Ebril) had a positive level regarding the self-concept, in general.
