Nasiriya enjoys an important status in the modern and contemporary history of Iraq.

Many factors contributed to this situation.

Economy was one of them.

It helped to single out a class of people with power and dominance.

Putative measures were imposed sometimes to force order in the city.

The Revolution forces exploit their privileges and power which they have acquired to protect their interests and to handle the conflict which had arisen at the beginning of the revolution.

Rather more، they succeeded in stopping the attempts of the communist party to reach power and gain political participation in decision-making.

However، the political situation was not only characterized by the provenance of the feeling of hatred and enmity among people on the one hand and their antagonists on the other، but also it went on to sectarian and economical reasons.

Consequently، the communist party and the political regime got into a state of attack and flee since 1959
