Abstract EN

The Purpose of the study is to investigate the performance level of learning disabilities students who study in resources room in Mafraq governorate in dictation skills.

The population of the study consisted of all resources room students in Mafraq directorate, Northern Badia Directorate and Eastern Badia directorate.

The sample of the study consisted of 192 male students and 192 female students learning in resources room.

To collect data the researcher administrated a dictation test containing scripts from 2nd, third and 4th grades Arabic books.

The findings of the study showed that there were significant statistical differences at the level of α=0.05 attributed to the group effect in all skills and in total degree in favor of normal students, there were no significant statistical differences at the level of α=0.05 attributed to gender in all skills and in the total degree.

There were no significant statistical differences at the level of α=0.05 attributed to gender effect in all skills and in total degree.

Meanwhile there were significant statistical differences at the level of α=0.05 attributed to class in all skills and in total degree between the 2nd grade from one hand and both third and fourth grades on the other hand in favor of the later in writing on the line.

Based on the findings the researcher presented several recommendations.
