Abstract EN

The study aimed to answer the following questions: what is the prevailing educational philosophy of middle school teachers in the province of Qurayet? Are there any differences statistically significant at the level of 0.05 in the choices of the study sample due to the following independent variables: nationality, Academic qualification, academic specialization, years of experience.

The study used a multiple0choice test by testing 17 paragraph representing the most important educational issues as follow: the concept of education, curriculum, teacher, learner, teaching methods, calendar, to adjust the behavior.

Each paragraph followed by five options: idealism, the philosophy of realism, philosophy and pragmatism, the existential philosophy, Islamic philosophy.

The study sample consisted of 50 teachers, and the results showed: the absence of a clear educational philosophy by the teachers, and the lack of statistically significant differences due to the variables such as: nationality, years of experience, academic qualification and academic specialization.
