Abstract EN

This study aimed at revealing the degree of political knowledge among female students at the department of educational sciences, Irbid University College/ BAU.

The study sample consisted of 101 students who underwent (multiple-choice) test, combining 30 paragraphs distributed on three fields; ten paragraphs for each.

The first addressed political knowledge on the Jordanian level, the second on the Arab and international level, while the third focused on political concepts.

The results showed that the degree of political knowledge in general was moderate among female students.

This was the case with knowledge on the Jordanian level and political concepts, while it was low on the foreign level.

The results did not show statistically significant differences attributable to the educational stage and place of residence variables, however, the results showed differences attributable to parents’ scientific qualification variable, which was for scientific qualification.
