Teaching is an important, vital and powerful profession.

It is one of the factors conductive to the reformation of society.

It is the teacher who prepares the youths to work in all the sectors of society and bears the responsibility for development.

The present study aims to: 1)Diagnosing some of the difficulties facing mathematics teachers and teacher trainees in terms of some terminology and expressions in the primary stage in Kuwait.

2) highlighting the views of department heads supervising student teachers during their teaching practice in the primary stage in Kuwait.

3) Making suggestions for overcoming theses difficulties from the point of view of student teachers when practicing actual teaching of mathematics in the primary stage.

Therefore, a 3 point scale was developed for this purpose.

It consisted of 66 items which covered thee axes of the study: first axis: the difficulties associated with mathematical terminology.

Second axis: the difficulties associated with teaching methods.

Third axis: the difficulties associated with student teacher performance evaluation.

This involves the main efficacies covered by student teacher evaluation (i.e., self-efficacy, lesson planning efficacy, lesson implementation efficacy, lesson management efficacy, practical efficacy, and evaluation efficacy).

The sample involved 185 senior teachers, student teachers and faculty supervisors majoring in mathematics.

The researcher came up with the following results: 1) there are difficulties in the accuracy of mathematical expressions, and the various mathematical exercises and their styles.

There is poor linkage between mathematical operations in the primary stage mathematics curriculum which pays attention to the method used to present some geometrical concepts and solve them in different ways.

2) student teachers do not neglect skill and affective aspects in the mathematics course, and the class becomes more exciting, attractive and interesting when teaching styles are varied.

3) As for student teacher performance evaluation during teaching practice, the following difficulties emerged in accordance with performance evaluation efficacies: in the field of self-efficacy: student teachers need to have more field practice and experience educational situations to face emergent situations.
