Abstract EN

Floods are the most common disaster in all parts of world’s part because this natural disaster is subject to characteristics of the earth which as a planet known by its considerable water resources due to the climate that prevails throughout the geographical history of the earth itself.

The mountain ranges that surround the Honda region make it a natural collector of waters rain which poured through watersheds into rivers (floods of rivers)..

That is why we addressed in our study the presentation of Hodna chott, and we have showed the effects of floods on the urban areas located in the vicinity of the Hodna chott.

Since the city M’sila and its peripheries and among these cities, we made an analytical study in which we have demonstrated that this city is constantly exposed to the risk of flooding, then we have highlighted the link between this danger and the urban planning that were realized at the level of this city and we concluded that the risk of flooding is not taken into account when planning operations are carried out in the extension of territories of M’sila city.
