Abstract EN
This study was conducted to identify the extent to which Jordanian teachers working in rented schools are satisfied with the infrastructure of their leased learning environment.
A survey of 36 items comprising 4 dimensions (school’s location, design, classrooms and facilities) was administered to a population sample of 657 teachers from 49 schools.
Findings revealed an overall low level (M=2.25) of satisfaction amongst teachers.
They seem to agree that leased school buildings lack the very basics of professional infrastructure in which a teacher may effectively operate.
Analysis also revealed the absence of significant statistical differences that could be attributed to the gender factor.
