Abstract EN
The Zinki had embraced Najm addinin Ayyoub and his brother Asaddin Sherko, sons of Shadi from 1139 through 1173.
As a result of that, the Ayyoubids became more important and powerful.
After Imad addin’s death, the Ayyoubi thought of breaking away from the zinki state.
Ever since Najmaddin and Assadinnin had assumed the highranking positions in the Zinki state, their political ambition grew stronger and finally took shape after they had moved to Egypt.
The Ayyoubi intentions of ruling Egypt as an independent state of the Levant were made known to the Zinkis.
Despite this being revealed, the Ayyoubids were able to annex the Levant to their state following Noor Addin zinki’s death
