Mass-media are considered as essebtial tools to obtain culture.

The different creativities are acquired by the public.

Experience…etc.

Consequently ; Mass-media assume a big and important responsability in the cutlural aspect.

Algeria, as every body knows, possesses a huge cultural diversity.

This is why, a big importance was given the written press which plays a main role in the amelioration of the individual capacities, thier intellectual level, customs and traditions in addition to identity preservation.

As for as we are concerned, we try to show in our research work the importance of the cultural information in the written press through the content of the Algerian daily newspapers « Echourouk Elyaoumi » and « Le quotidien d’Oran ».
